I almost broke my fucking recliner when they over turned that call - even though I knew it was coming after they took an eternity to look at the replay.

since it took so long I replayed the dvr about ten times and couldn't figure out what they could be looking at for so long. HIS KNEE WAS DOWN - play is over at that point. First down UNC.

 

I'm not sure what the specific NCAA rules are regarding a fumble on a play that was initially ruled down, or if the whistle even blew. But what you described is what I feared they were going to do. I thought they'd give Notre Dame the ball at the 9 yard line with 5 seconds left under the excuse that the whistle had blown.

 

It was a good win but they should have blown out ND, 5 T.O's from ND and UNC only wins by 5. It seemed like a good atmosphere during the game and it's a good way for UNC to show the nation they have a solid football team.

 

I hope Butch Davis lives to be a very old man in Chapel Hill.

 

Starting QB out, best WR, special teams playmaker out for most of the game. That would hurt most teams on offense.

 

SO beat UVA and the Heels are bowl eligible. With the injuries it's time for younger players to get experience and let the coaches see what they can do
