Imagine I am saying this to you really slowly...

I don't care if a PhD or a priest or a Republican says that everything began at the Big bang, the fact of the matter is, it didn't. All things are caused to exist. The issue before us is whether or not some supernatural creature farted it out or there were natural phenomenon that lead to the crunch and subsequent expansion. I tend to fall on the side of natural phenomenon because, strangely enough, natural phenomenon is what I see all around me on a daily basis.

All the evidence that we can deduce currently was burnt up in those milliseconds, but we do have some clues of symmetry breaking giving us the resulting explosion pattern. I think it unsafe and unsound to say that some totally radical being or creature, never seen before, decided to make it happen on a whim and granted some special privilege to a fundamentally pitiful and silly little species in the middle of nowhere with no especially redeeming qualities other than not being an amoeba. On the otherhand, I could be swayed to considering that this creature had a hand in it in the first place if you SHOWED ME SOME EVIDENCE OF THIS CREATURE'S EXISTENCE.

Why do you continue to demand that which you cannot provide?

All things are caused to exist. Natural phenomenon exists. What causes natural phenomenon?

Evidence points to more natural phenomenon. The natural phenomenon that preceded it and caused it to exist. It doesn't point to a supernatural creature.

So our existence and self awareness is the product of a continuous series of accidents that were caused by the previous accidents and the cycle has continued without beginning?

Eventually you have to get to a root cause.

err... you got it backwards. there is no way to prove a hypothesis. you can only disprove them.

Accidents? You need to step away from thinking you are the centerof the Universe. There are only "accidents" when there is intent. There is no evidence of supernatural intent.

No, you don't. Everything is preceded by that which caused it. That is an irrefutable truth of the Universe around us.

    What?

A mathematical proof of the spin and interaction of a boson, for example, is a supporting factor for the theory of the Quantum Standard Model and Quantum Field Theory. It has been thoroughly tested and vetted concerning what it is and speaks nothing to all the infinite ideas related to what it is not.
