I'm glad I'm up here. The colored folks are scared of the mountains and the rich folks left their multimillion dollah homes empty & STOCKED.

It's already here for my neighborhood. We've got a drug dealer latino bunch that's already attracting gunfire, and their fucking absentee landlord won't evict them. I want to kick that sob's ass sooo bad.

Anyhow, carry on, I had to vent.

I agree with the cycle thing - absolutely. In my opinion this cycle has turned into a tornado and we're in the vortex right now. I don't think we're going to see a real, decent recovery for about ten years.

Despite the noise going on right now about bail outs and so forth, the ripple effects of the hit won't reach some people for months. That's going to hurt everyday people - some who have managed their money, but now can't get that bridging loan, or mortgage.

If people haven't learned to adjust their spending habits after this, they never will. And guess what? In another thirty years, the same thing will be happening. In many ways, I'm glad that this has happened. It might be the only thing some people listened to - they've ignored the warnings for years.
