    DJIA will sink to about 8000 by the end of the year. AIG will need more than $85BN. And the derivatives markets will bring down the entire world's economy to the tune of $516 trillion. Oh, and that was in 2007.

    AIG is already looking to need more money. The same thing will happen with other companies when/if the bailout passes. I'm of the mindset that things are going to be tough no matter what. The more the government tries to prop up bad debt the longer and tougher this recession will last.

    Tough, yes. Recession, yes. Great depression, no.

    The stock market will drop but it will come back. It just may take a few years.

    Things go in a pattern. This or some sort of Market issue happens every 10-15 years. Things sucks, they get better, they get great people get greedy...things go bad.
