Did you watch the same game I watched?

In all seriousness, we were getting stuffed on the run at times, but Jake had enough time to have almost 300 yds. passing. I think they did well, even though my heart sunk with Hangartner came in.

109 on 30 carries for Williams and Stewart. We had trouble with their DTs, but got some big creases when we got to the second level as well.

A game ball to Smitty for giving his 1st touchdown ball to Ken Lucas.

yep. Good enough work. They guessed and shot some gaps, which I'd certainly rather not see, but we still ran on them and made plays running. Both backs.

Can't think of anyone from special teams. Maybe Goings should lose his job on the punt team.

I don't know, on one Falcons return, Goings knocked a couple days off their return guy. Maybe he should only play coverage special teams?

Numbers were alright but I think many of us expected us to pound it all day and control the clock. We had more success through the air. Hopefully we can get the ground game going next week.

Zero sacks vs NFL sack leader, with backups.

Yeah, that's not something I would have believed. Abraham has always given us fits, and aside from Goings, he didn't get the better of anyone today. The fact that the o-line gave up so much penetration on running plays was concerning, so I wouldn't necessarily give them a game ball, but as long as they keep Delhomme clean then we have a good chance to win.

Remember they've got big ol' Grady in the middle of the line. I don't know that I've ever seen such a mountainous mass of football player.
