Even though the the lose for USC is tough, losing early could work out for them. The top 10 are either SEC or Big 12 so they will beat up on each other and if USC runs the table they could be back at #1 .

Yeah, they could, but I was informed by a wise one that they were unbeatable. Until they played a team with a losing record that is.

Great win for OSU...and imagine...students running onto the field after a big win and NOT getting bodyslammed/tasered/sprayed/etc by the cops. A novel idea, I know.

When USC scored the last touchdown and the fans were coming over the wall, I was pulling for USC to beat them to make the fans look like idiots.

I hope the loss starts a trend of top ten teams losing and the BCS gets a dud like they normally do.

Just posing a question: We're always told how great a coach Pete Carroll is and how his second or third string recruits would start for almost any other university in the country, so, my question is if he's so great shouldn't they have won more NC's and stopped losing 1-2 games each season against teams that are clearly less talented?

That speaks more to recruiting than coaching.

They don't attack them with the seriousness they should, which is definitely a problem in coaching.
