    It has provided a lot of memories with some of the best players to ever play the game.

    Not a Yank fan but Jeter has my upmost respect. He will be the past person to wear #2 as a Yankee.

    The place is a dump though. The area around the stadium is better than it was but it's not a garden spot for sure.

    When are they tearing it down? I wanted to see the stadium at least once before they tear it down but I won't get to NYC til mid October.

    When they took down Boston Garden, they had to do it slow, since it was so close to other buildings. People could see inside of it for about a year, just chopped in half, while they were driving to and from work. who knows about Yankee Stadium.
