Does Fox deserve all the blame for this loss? No...But I thought the game changed in the Vikings favor with the events that occured at the end of the first half.

Here's the biggest problem I had with the whole series of events. At 10-3 I think you could say that we had good control of the game. Well, not only did we allow the Vikes the chance to tie up the score (which also brought the crowd back into the game) but on top of all of that is the fact that the Vikings had the ball to start the 2nd half and they scored again. That is the reason I disagreed with the play calling. When MInnesota went up 17-10 I knew the game was over because any and all momentum we had were completely gone.

As I said, he needs to stop expressing his opinions to the media. It does him, nor the team, any favors

He wasn't asked about executing the play. He was asked about the decision to call the play. The execution was the problem, but that's not what was asked.

the problem is his ability to express, not whether he should or shouldn't but I see what you are saying if you are basing it on him not being good with media criticism

Delhomme is known to fumble in such situations, so the decision should be tied to confidence in execution.

    Çheck.

Fumble had a ton to do with it, but they are absolutely better than us up front.

Teams overloading us have broken us down offensively for years, whether with Henning/Maser or Davidson/Magazu. I don't know why we can't counter that, I do know McCoy is a constant, as is Jake.

Holding happens when guys get beat, that happens sometimes but the coaches should see it coming and plan for it. In '03 with Stuessie, we had the pocket shifting away from him numerous times, haven't seen much of that since. But then, with Vincent in there, I don't know how sliding the pocket away from Gross would work, he's fucking awful. Or was yesterday, as was Hangartner. Three guys out of five doesn't give us much to work with. I'd liked to have seen some screens tried.

The false starts, and illegal formations, that's shameful. I somewhat forgive or understand that with Otah, as he's a rook and there's a learning curve.

Btw, same with Godfrey, who's been burned in two of three games, he's a rook with a learning curve.

Probably end up like most toys, played with for a week or two then forgotten about. He's had five years to establish his work habits.

In my opinion, I have the nicest house in Quail Hollow.
