no kidding. I think Jason Bay is gonna get a healthy diet of offspeed pitches after last night's affair. He looked foolish.

Big Papi, with two men on in final inning and down by three runs, squaring around to bunt with three balls, as if to coax a walk, was a little disheartending. that and trying to get a bunt hit against the shift. Not what you want from your slugger.

Now we have to face the hottest team in baseball. Can't believe Gaston didn't have a job for so long, I guess he is that big of a dickhead. Will Hallady pitch Sunday on three days rest or not?

    from today's Herald:

Shortstop Julio Lugo is pleased with how his strained left quad is feeling. The shortstop has done sprint exercises, taking groundballs and hitting live batting practice in the last couple of days.

“I feel free in the leg for the first time in a long time,” Lugo said.

“He got pretty active,” said Francona. “We’re going to hit early on every night game this trip.”

    ummm, OK. That's great news.

It appears the Sox have the Angels number once again in the post-season. Kind of amazing really sinc ethe Angels owned them in the regular season. Sox and Rays...

Krod = overrated. how many of his saves were more than 3 outs? none? How many came when the halos had a comfy lead of two or three runs? most?

right on cue, he has to pitch more than an inning and he gets lit up. Great sinker and change, but if you can lay off some of those pitches and make him throw in the zone, he can be had. 88 mph change. lol
