YPA is what the QBs should be ranked on then?

Wow.. did you just say that?

It looks to me like you are also saying that QB rating is more important, and that Ortons was higher.. and that *chuckle* "IF" (here we go again) we take away the INT, a rating of 76 is "clearly" better then a rating of 71.. the 71 being the rating of a QB everyone in the world says sucks raw eggs.

What a wonderful world you live in!

Got a pair of those glasses in Panthers colors presidence99? LOL

jakes was only an int because king didn't hold it long enough for it to be a fumble.

but, that's ok, i'm sure you remember how good jake is from the last time we played you guys in the playoffs.

Well, after watching the highlights on NFL.com ("radio calls and highlights of the Panthers win over the Bears in week 2"), here are a few thoughts:

1- The Panthers didnt have any highlights to speak of in the first 40 minutes of the game, but we knew that already.

2- How anyone can call the Bears punt block for a TD "lucky" is beyond me.. maybe they should have tried.. you know, blocking the guy a little.

3- Briggs probably will get fined for that hit. It looks like Jake was in the process of sliding. That said, if you watch the second reply of it (you know after the announcers ask "how is that not a helmet to helmet hit"), it wasnt a helmet to helmet hit.. and Jakes helmet must have been taken off by himself.. because on that second view (beginning at about 2:04 of the video, looking from behind the play) you can see that Briggs and Jake hit shoulder to shoulder, and Jakes helmet was still on when he hit the ground and came to a stop. That said.. I still think he will get fined and should be fined.. Jake was on the way down.

Actually, the most important stat is winning. The Panthers with Jake Delhomme are 2-0.

Kyle Orton and the Bears are 1-1. Still looking up at the Packers.

i think thelt said the blocked punt was lucky. Don't listen to him. you can argue this game all you want, the panthers won. might as well talk about next week.

Your team got their asses kicked when it was on the line, by a team that was shorthanded, and according to you wasn't good enough to win in the first place. If you can't get a yard with the game on the line, you don't deserve to win.

Please just go preach to the choir on some Bears board somewhere.

This is true.. winning is the most important stat.. and the scoreboard shows the Panthers won today.

As for the Packers, I will be pulling for the Panthers to win (however they do it... doesnt matter to me in that case.. lol) against the Packers as well as the Vikings and Lions.

And failing that.. I will be pulling for the Bears to sweep the Packers like we did last year. ;)

Panthers are 3-1 vs. Chicago since 2002.

    Stats do matter.
