Rock Band 2 - saturday at midnight!

Do you have a Netflix account? You can't stream without one. This will be nice for people with both xbl and netflix, but all it really saves you is from having to buy a roku or hooking your PC up to your tv.

Unfortunately most of the movies they have available for streaming so far are indie/lesser known flicks. They do have some good tv shows up there like The Office, though.

Alos, with the update, it's one button to export the entire RB1 list into RB2... but I can't let you know how that goes until next month

I'll let you know how it goes tonight . Export took a LONG time, hopefully they just work with RB2, no import option required.

 

I'm heading to Wal-Mart, open at midnight and stocks these games...otherwise it's gamestop or best buy in the morning, which will REALLY suck.

 

Yes, this has been covered here before. "all it really saves you..." is amusing. That's exactly the purpose, saving that expense and hassle and ugliness - I am almost down to a single box connected to my TV - 360 FTW as a DVD player, netflix streamer, game player, media center extender (soon including HD DirecTV recording)...

 

Now this is something that's worthy of posting. That would be huge for either console imo.

HD DVR functions would be a big seller to the right crowd.

 

HD DVR is already there for media center and the extender.
DirectTV tuning (and recording) natively is in beta and has been for quite a while. Buddy has the Dish tuner too, but that's less interesting .
