Delhomme knew he would make a completion for a TD on 4th down. He was just teasing them the rest of the drive.

It was bad clock management, plain and simple. Saying that it's okay because we won the game is the same as deciding to run every red light since you survived one car crash.

    ALMOST.

That last drive was unreal. You'd think id have a little more faith but i really thought we'd blown it. Plus, i was sure the refs had it in for us with some of the calls that day. When we went up by 9 and then proceded to play the shittiest we could possibly play i was certain we'd blown our chance.

Even on the last play i didnt know how to react. Between losing it watching the clock tick down and looking around the field trying to find a reason why the refs could possibly have thrown a flag I almost didnt react at all, ALMOST.

saying he had a great game because of that drive would be erroneous. i had no problem with him getting closer to the goalline prior to the last play. the only mistake i think they made on that drive was not calling the TO and letting a fairly significant amount of time tick off, but thats not all on jake.

Letting the clock rundown before that pass to moose was the bad clock management I was referring to.
