    the mom on this show really gets on my nerves. I know her and her husband have quite a daily challenge with all those kids, but geeeeez just cool it a bit please. She acts so precise and planned out with EVERYTHING.............she should just try winging it every now and then.

    it may be a crazy life, but it's OUR LIFE. gag!!!

    I'm on another board with bunch of hippy moms and they all say Kate is overly anal and not loving to her kids as well, but I strongly disagree.

    She has 8 kids, 6 all the same age, to take care of every day. She thought she was going to have one more and she had 6. Screw the naysayers of Kate. She is anal, she is planned, she is organized, but if you have 8 kids, I can't imagine her not being anal and planning. Just to get their basic needs, ie... feeding, bathing and getting dressed would be an all day job for most people.
    She doesn't feed them junk either. She cooks their meals and doesn't go the McDonalds way every meal.
    Maybe she sold out for a tv show if you want to see it that way, but no way is she not a good mom.

    I keep hearing about Kate slapping John in the face. Admittedly, I've not watched this show every time it comes on, but I've never seen it.

    I wonder just how 'abusive' the slap is. All these moms are saying she abuses her husband and verbally abuses her children because she sometimes yells at them.

    FFS.

    I've only seen one episode because I "had to" watch it. The dude was getting a hair transplant or something. He's obviously a soft guy so I wouldn't be suprised if the woman abuses him. She certainly seems to wear the pants.

    I've seen a lot of episodes. They both do a fantastic job raising the kids. They really are awesome parents. The kids are bright, well groomed, articulate and well mannered.
