    Congratulations!

How do you feel? Can you tell a difference yet? Do you feel weak or drained from the diet?

I am having a few side effects from the adipex but nothing bad enough to make me consider stopping it. I have to be careful about squatting down and standing up too quickly or I will get light headed. My wife looked it up and said blood pressure drops brought on in that situation are a possible side effect. I also have some minor problems with sleeping.

I feel better in that my clothes are looser and I just feel better about myself in general. I have a long way to go though I am not happy just losing this much. I at least want to get under 200 pounds. I am at 222 right now. 165-170 is about my right weight but I am not sure they will let me stay on the meds that long.

Well I did not quite make my goal. I was back up to about 240 when I posted this and Saturday was my birthday and I was at 221.

Don't get too discouraged, Thelt. You're doing good things -- it's gonna take as long as it's gonna take. You didn't put that weight on overnight, and it won't come off that way. The biggest thing is that you're changing your lifestyle. As long as you keep following through with that, the pounds will come off. Trust me.

I am actually not discouraged right now. I see where my last post might have sounded that way though. I have dropped 19 pounds in five weeks so I am pretty stoked. It has slowed down to about 2 pounds per week the last couple of weeks but I expected that.

Thanks for the support HB. It is nice to hear it from a guy who has been through it already.

You should be stoked. 20 lbs in 5 weeks is nothing to sneeze at.
