Braid

Has anyone downloaded and played this on X-Box Live? It is getting a lot of praise. I just heard a story on the radio about it last night and read this article a few minutes ago. I am almost intrigued enough to go download it.

single-player only...boring to me. Too much fun to be had with online games of all kinds...

 

I tried the demo, played about 30 seconds. I guess I don't get it.

 

I got it the first day. it's got plenty of incredible puzzles, but if you get the mechanics and concepts, it can be beat rather quickly. You are given control of time, so you can always tinker around with the level until you get the puzzle down. It was a fantastic game for $15.

I assume its success will lead it to be ported to PC or the ps3 eventually.

 

I'll probably pick it up but I'll recommend Bionic Commando Rearmed, especially for fans of the original. It's a fantastic, old-school type of game, and it's got a unique play style for a platformer/shooter.

 

You are right, it is a fantastic game. I love the music and visuals. The game play hurts my head sometimes until I figure it out and then I feel stupid that I didn't see the solution all along.
