If your going to characterize my posts, it would be good to actually READ them.

Didn't have to look that one up, but as your example clearly shows; if you don't know it is a good idea to verify before you post.
I wasn't pissed off and tharan wasn't pissed off. I think we're best suited to characterize the nature of our debate/argument. I say it was a debate.

That's an odd thing to say. If atheism works out for him then wouldn't it mean your god doesn't exist?

Just so I have this straight, when regarding the bible you consider the ridiculous fairy tales to be "parable", you choose to ignore what pleases you (sex, drinking, gambling, etc.) and practice and preach the remainder?

That, my good man, is not christianity, it is hypocrisy and will not get you to an alleged heaven faster than anyone else.

Selective praticing is why I stated earlier that most "crhristians" are hypocrites.

No, your reading comprehension fails you. I don't selectively practice, and I believe everything in the Bible has a purpose. Parables teach ideas and instruct. The old testaments purpose was to prophesy the coming of the messiah.
Christianity, my good man, is believeing that Christ paid the ultimate price for sins and simply accepting the gift of that sacrifice. That is christianity.

(Neither sex, nor drinking, nor gambling are identified as sins in the bible, btw....but thanks for playing)

EDIT: I also don't preach...I'll tell you what I think and believe, but I don't preach.

This is just more of the same that I usually read from you. You are very good a convincing yourself, interpreting to suit and creating definitions.

I am no authority on christianity but I do know enough to know that you are not either. I will leave it at that and give you the last word because it is inevitable anyway.

I like you better when you are in R&R spreading you christian values.

Good idea to stop posting when you can't dispute what's posted.

Oh yeah, that's right. You're making statements and he's arguing. Gotcha.

I'm sure that you think you are winning. Due to the rules of this forum though, I'm not able to finish that thought....
