    bump for Maddux, Manny, Blake and winning the NL West.

    Depending on what the Dodgers gave up, Maddux can bring Billlingsly and Kershaw under his wing and show them a thing or 3 and help the Dodgers into the playoffs.

    With 3 walk off wins, 2 being home runs in over a week or so, this seems like 1988 all over again. "What a team".

    Tough road trip coming up after the Rockies, we will see what the Dodgers are really made of. Pauls Phillies may have something to say about getting swept for the first time in 47 years by the Dodgers when the Dodgers return to Philly this week.

    It's gonna be strange seeing Maddux wearing a Dodger uniform. I wonder who's cap he will wear in the Hall of Fame? Should be the Braves IMO but he may go in as a Cub.

    What the fuck is your point other the one on the top of your head? Did I imply he had never been with the Dodgers ? In fact, I saw him pitch in a Dodger uniform in Atlanta. My ignore list must not be working.

    Go ahead and pretend you knew all along that he had already been with the Dodgers if you want, but someone who knew that probably wouldn't talk about how weird it would be to now see him in a Dodgers uniform.

    he's not as hot as he was the first few games, but he's still hitting fairly well. Not hitting home runs, but doubles and singles. The team is hitting decent, but not getting timely hitting. The west just sucks if the Dodgers can lose this many and still only be 3 games out. Another reason why it doesn't really matter, whoever comes out of the west will probably get swept in the first round of the playoffs.

    In the last two weeks he's had only two multi-hit games and only two extra-base hits, plus he's been fucking up in the outfield and disappearing into the clubhouse. I thought he'd at least be on his best behavior for two months.


    42 at-bats since August 13th: .286 average, 2 runs scored, 1 home run, 5 rbi, .375 OBP, and .381 SLG%.
