My grass looks good except for one 12 square foot section of a bunch of weeds. Ya'll know of anything that actually works? I've tried two different sprays from Lowes and they didn't do much. I'm skeered the weeds are going to spread.

You might need to just kill off the whole spot-grass and weeds and reseed this fall.

You don't need to kill of your grass as one poster suggested. Find out what type of weed it is because a general weed killer may not work. For example, if it is honeysuckle you will need a brush killer like you would use for poison ivy or poison oak.

Most weed killers won't kill crabgrass so you will need a specific one there. It may be another turf grass like bermuda. A lot of people get patches of it in their fescue and don't know what it is and can't figure out why weed killers won't kill it.

Are they weeds that can be pulled? I have one of those weed hound things that I use to dig down deep and pull it up by the root. It seems to work pretty well.
