    Yeah and it wasn't even close. Granted only looking at the 64 team era is a pretty convenient time frame for Duke but it is what it is and the only way you can compare apples to apples now.

    I'd say 'convenient' is a bit of an understatement (But what else would you expect from ESPN?). Would love to figure out a system that compared programs from the time they started, but that's probably not possible.

    The Florida Gators have 2 national championships and 4 final fours and they aren't a top 20 team?

    Interesting.

    This is the only claim they are making. Not making any judgement about most prestigious ever. And by those standards there really is no argument at all.

    Still don't understand how Florida isn't top 20. Especially when there is a team with no national championships in the top 10.

    The ranking is skewed.

    To their credit, they did make a final four in the 90's. But yeah, pretty much.

    Yeah they had a FF in 94 and back-to-back championships. I'd have to say that outweighs 'sucking' but a lot of those years FLA didn't even make the tourney. That's what killed them.

    Who cares besides UNCKEV though?
