    If I want to stick with the same teams perhaps, but not boosting means that I should be much better than boosters when we're similar levels due to more training. Plus it's not like I couldn't boost a couple of guys if I wanted to, as I did with my level 9 CB. I just can't imagine wasting enough money to boost all eight.

    The three levels you skip by boosting, a non-booster is training while he gains them. So while a booster will obviously go up in levels faster, whenever a booster and a non-booster are similar levels then the non-booster will have better stats because they trained while earning the three levels that the booster skipped.

    The problem is the booster and the non-booster won't be at similar levels for long. And when you have multi-season league play, over time that booster is going to destroy the non booster.

    This is particularly true at higher levels when the training and playtime XP ( and training SP ) get dramatically reduced, whereas boosting remains the same. I bet that's by design - and it will entice people to spend money.

    The toughest thing about boosting, other than the $$, is making sure your player has a salary that will pay for his equipment upgrades at high levels. But that comes with being on a winning team thats making $$. And, IMHO, winning comes with boosting.

    I really don't see how non-boosters in the game stand much of a chance against boosters over a 2 or 3 season period.

    True, but that's not a problem unless you're trying to stay with the same teams and players.

    You need 100% with custom equipment and 100% boosting in order to win. No way around it.

    We had a guy last year that refused to boost before the playoffs. We dumped his ass. With 10 Million in the bank and a team of boosters, we should win it all.

    Good luck with that. The last rookies I created were an absolute biatch to get signed. Even now, I half expect them to get cut any day now -- especially my TE.
