    Bowden can't coach his way out of a paper bag. The ACC sucks badly and he has more talent than anyone in the conference. I bet they have a chance to clinch the division at home towards the end of the season and lose to some crappy team like Maryland or N.C. State. Clemson right now is what Georgia was in the late 90's under Jim Donnan. Really talented players coached by a complete moron. If they don't win the ACC this year Bowden should be fired.

    don't forget, NCSU was "picked" pre-season last year to finish 3rd in ACC basketball. they went on to finish last. maybe the Heels will have similar success in football after this lofty prediction.

    While I don't expect UNC to be great. I do enjoy the jealousy of the Wolfpeckers.

    My expectations of UNC are 7 to 8 wins and a mid to low level bowl game this year. Which they'll probably lose. They have a favorable schedule which helps, Returning a number of starters which helps, but they are still a little thin and those starters are still young. A lot of people bring up Yates struggling late, but he was playing with a screwed up shoulder. If you'll notice his passes early were crisp but late he threw up a ton of weak floaters. His shoulder is fixed now.

    he beat out Sexton for the number 2 spot, but its hard to say for sure. Could be more of a Practice Pro Bowler. He'll need to see live action before making a call.

    Ha...I don't think anybody is jealous of a prediction. It's funny to hear a Tarheel claim they are back becuase they are predicted to finish second in their division over a month before the first game.

    They're picked to finish second because aside from VTech, that division sucks ass.
    EweNC and State will be about the same again this year..shooting for 6-8 wins, and a crap bowl. But hey, have to start somewhere.
