    Eventually it won't be just foreign players, I've been thinking about this scenario for awhile.

    However, most foreign clubs have a '2 american limit' on their roster, but it wouldn't surprise me in a couple of years to see some aging vets go to Europe for a last payday instead of a mid-level exception on a borderline playoff team. Sort of like what happened with Dominique Wilkins.

    It looks like a "Plan B' type of situation. A player isn't happy, they go to Europe. More power to them.

    Greece is pretty awesome, but that would still be weird for anyone who spent their entire life in this country.

    Have you been? I've wanted to do a Med cruise for a while including Greece, Turkey, etc. Hopefully one day soon. Don't think I'd take time to watch and basketball though.

    tax-free, that's awesome.


    I remember when Danny Ferry signed in Italy for one year, I think he got $3 mil tax free, an apt, and a car. It was a much better deal than the Clippers offered him as the #2 pick. I mean, it's happened before.
