GREAT fricken movie. Honestly, don't know if Ledger is really oscar worthy, but I will say it's the best acting I've ever seen in a comic book movie. REally really great flick. I don't know enough about hte source material to know who to give credit to, but the plot and the writing were really incredible.

If you haven't seen Batman Begins then watch that first before going to see The Dark Knight. There are certain moments in the movie that reflect back to Batman Begins. My girlfriend and her mom went with me without seeing Batman Begins so they didn't understand some scenes from The Dark Knight.

I thought it was the best Batman movie ever and I have seen all of them. Christian Bale gave another solid performance and I think has to be considered the best Batman ever. I have never been a huge fan of Ledger but his role as the Joker was amazing and it really surprised me how good he did with the part.

    The "pencil trick" was awesome.

Saw a report today that the midnight showing only made 18.5 million and surpassed "Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith" for first place all time for a midnight showing movie.

It's great in spite of all the hype. It is a little long, well, very long. I know I'll get blasted for this, but I think they could have shaved a half hour and made it a much better movie. And made it a much better set up for the next Batman Movie.

They probably could've cut at least 30 minutes off the end but I don't think I was the only one who was really happy that the movie kept going.....and going....

awesome movie. Ledger nailed his part. As good as he did and all the hype over his death he probably will win the Oscar.

Funny thing about the length. Lenore and the girls went to see Wall-E and she texted me when hers was over. Said we still had an hour to go and I said "An HOUR?" That was at a part in the movie where it looked like it was about over - I was like - AWESOME - there is an hour more action!

I know nothing about the Watchmen but the trailer looked cool as hell.
