guessing one of the guys that rode the bench and never made any money off of the "talent"

Sad thing is they got a free education and SHOULD have taken advantage of that to make themselves better off.

As much as I'd love a dook championship ring (it really would be close to the ultimate for me, at least as far as sports memorabilia that exists, unlike a Panthers Super Bowl ring) buying one off a player who needs the cash that bad just feels wrong.

Surely a place exists that does replicas or something?

And of course, owning one wouldn't be the same as winning one, and I'm sure whomever is selling their ring still has memories that aren't attached to a piece of jewelry.

I'm thinking someone more like a Jessie Holley. Not saying its him but someone in a similar mold.

    It's David Noel's.
Still trying to figure out if it's stolen, but the seller says they're a family member and David gave it to them.

The name is supposedly above the NCAA logo. Can't really read it though.

The story I've read is it IS David Noel's. He gave it to a family member hard up for cash. Thing I didn't realize is they got two rings to recognize winning. The NCAA gives one, but the more elaborate ring that you always hear about the school gives. To me seems kinda wrong for any school to do that but apparently its common practice.

Here's the school's version of the championship ring.
