    on ESPN, they said he's on the reserve-retired list not counting towards their salary right now, and if he wishes to play still, they'd either have to activate him or release him.

    If I was Rogers I'd just say F-This. He is screwed from the get go. Only thing that will get him out of Favre's shadow is if he wins the Super Bowl and with Brady and Manning around that's not happening at least for a little while.

    Exactly. They drafted Brian Brohm even though Rodgers had played well in bits. Favre is taking advantage of the Packer fans love and is selfishly shitty all over Rodgers. If I were Rodgers I would simply ask for a trade and let Favre come back, play 2 years and then let Brohm take over. Favres legacy ought to take a hit over this.

    Agreed. It's not exactly news that Stephen A is a moron. 95.7 QB rating (6th), 66.5 completion percentage (4th), 4155 passing yards (4th), and 28 passing touchdowns (6th). This is not a Steve Young situation where the backup has proven himself to be a potential star in the NFL.
