That's a great and even more embarressing analogy.

The only Cowboy game I went to that wasn't a home game for them was the 2nd playoff game. That's the only one I went to that they won, too :(

    It's beyond being extremely arrogant.

It's not just closer, it's in the same city and the team is named after the city. Play the Niners in Halton and none of this matters.

:clapclap: AMEN! BRAVO! RIGHT ON! HAMMER-NAIL!

This may be the stupidest arguement ever. UNCC has no more claim or right to call the TWC "home" than any other school. Halton is their home arena - PERIOD.

TWC is a neutral site. Carolina, being the largest state school and Charlotte probably having more UNC fans and alumni than probably any other state school, usually plays at least once a year in Charlotte for that fan base.

UNC has every right to ask for the home team. Forgive Roy for throwing UNCC a bone (since they ALWAYS whine/cry/complain about how UNC will NEVER play them) by picking them as the away opponent rather than some other school. UNC could have just offered them a game in Chapel Hill. Would UNCC turn that down too? But Roy wanted the game in Charlotte - sounds like better terms for the 49ers to me.

UNC being arrogant? Sure - they have earned that right. UNCC is displaying their own arrogance by refusing to play.

No skin off UNC's back - but UNCC is the one that turned down a chance to play a game they say they never get. You tell me who is losing out.

I'd rather have the game in Chapel HIll than a game IN CHARLOTTE with Charlotte being the "away" team. Still makes no sense to me.

Me too. I'd take a one shot in Chapel Hill. Or a 2 for 1.
