Even Rollins admits it's their best stuff. 1978-1982. The First Four Years is a compilation record of all these tunes. Also - 'Everything Went Black' is a release of outtakes with these guys.

The only life member of Black Flag was Greg Ginn. Greg Ginn WAS Black Flag. The First Singer was Keith Morris, the Circle Jerks singer.

no wonder I never caught that part. Their first four years were, as well, mine. Gotta check that out.

  3. Good to see some Fleck fans!

I guess, if I had to list them my top five would be

    1) Bela Fleck and the Flecktones
    2) Beck
    3) Rush
    4) Phish
    5) The Beatles

In no particular order. Also, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Finley Quaye, Bob Marley, Cake, Oingo Boingo and Garbage should be represented in that list, but I was trying to keep it to 5. Oh, well.

There's a band not far from Charlotte, "Acoustic Syndicate" - I haven't seen them but I got ahold of one of thier albums. It's pretty amazing.
