Anyone know a good replacement for this thermostat?

    Here are some pictures. It's a line voltage thermostat. The issue seems to be that the thermostat is not detecting the temperature anymore so it's constantly running the A/C since it's stays constant on 80 degrees.


    Anyway, if you know of a good way to pick up another one or how to fix, that would be great.

    Don't know the application, but a transformer and peanut relay could change it to a more accurate 24V control stat.

    yes...I think it's the only option as I do not want to troubleshoot this old piece of crap.

    I put a Ritetemp programmable/digital in our house two or three years ago. I'm sure it's paid for itself several times over that period.

    How old is the AC & Furnace it is connected to? I can't believe the thermostat wasn't replaced when the others were. If it has modern thermostat wiring just go to Lowes and buy a digital one for like $30.
