Saying that a guy has NBA scouts....scouts, NOT GMs drooling, would not require a source for a journalist to keep a job, especially in this day and age of journalism. A writer could legitimately presume this being that he has an impressive NBA body. EVEN if he had 10 NBA scouts telling him this, it really doesn't prove his worth to UNC or that he would be a lottery pick. You being a PROFESSIONAL BIGSHOT SPORTS WRITER for a NEW YORK CITY publication should know this. Scouts are interested in the 13 year old from Wherever, USA that can dunk, so saying NBA scouts are drooling doesn't mean that anyone is even NBA talent. It means they are worth watching. Stepheson is worth watching to see if he can develop an NBA game and mind that goes along with his NBA body. That about sums it up.

I just wanted to chime in and say you lost the argument to Wossa, whoever he is, and that you are wrong. You might be right the next time, but you will likely still be an arrogant prick.

It's interesting that you would lie to avoid admitting that you made an ass out of yourself. Even someone as completely ignorant as you are would still know that, yes, Staples needed to have some kind of proof that NBA scouts were interested in order to write that. If he didn't, yes he could certainly lose his job. No one would just presume that scouts were interested.

Moreover, have any of you morons given one reason why Staples would lie about scouts being interested in Stepheson? Give me one, seriously. That accusation makes absolutely no sense because there is no reason for Staples to just make that up. He was reporting what he knew. Meanwhile you bobble-headed morons have every reason to pretend that Staples was lying because you're all bitter about how I make you feel inferior and worthless. But again, it's not my fault that you are the way you are. Blame genetics or your upbringing.

It is a measure of your stupidity that you keep arguing a point I've already said myself repeatedly. Never have I claimed that Staples' article proved that Stepheson would be a lottery pick or that he would have been worth more to Carolina than Ellington. The article proves only that wossa was wrong about NBA scouts and their interest in Stepheson.

For hopefully the last time, I expressed my opinion that Stepheson would have gone in the late lottery if he stayed and played at Carolina next season. Wossa disagreed and became insulting, but I didn't post the link until he challenged my statement about NBA scouts drooling over Stepheson. That's what the link was for, and it did prove wossa wrong. Because he feels bitter and embarrassed, he's been ranting about it ever since. And because I've embarrassed plenty of other people in my time here, they've bitched about it too.
