I don't expect him back honestly. Tex thinks Boras is a God. I look for him to be asking in neighborhood of ARod money, although he's nowhere near as good a hitter. I'll bet he's looking at 20-25 million a year and Yankee and Met fans already think he's a done deal for one of them. Sad imo. He looks happy as a Brave.

Going down to Turner Field for the game tomorrow afternoon. I don't like the Braves much, but hey, it's the majors.

Bobby Cox agreed to a one year contract extension today that will keep him in the Braves dugout through the 2009 season. Cox is as good as their is.

I agree about the odds being slim, but I never expected Joe Nathan to sign an extension with the Twins either.

Being certain that Cox is back through next season won't hurt when Tex takes a look at his options.

Braves get a win today over Arizona and Brandon Webb. A series split with the D'backs and an 8-3 homestand is not bad. Now it's time to start playing better on the road. Soriano, Smoltz, and Gonzalez, are all about to come back. Tex is heating up with 4 RBI today, let's play some ball.

Damned....Damned....Damned,,,The Braves have lost two in a row in Milwaukee. They are not hitting on the road. Two great starts by Hudson and Reyes and they get squat.
