    i wouldn't say strahan got over it alone. tom moved towards the middle a lot too, made a point of making that public. a kinder gentler coughlin.

    Special Treatment is a bad word for it. Think about the military. Raw recruits are treated differently than veterans. Once you do your job and earn some respect you should expect to get some respect. The NFL is populated with grown men who can not and should not be treated like boys, college is different than the NFL.
