I got to thinking about his in the Iron Man thread, but decided to start a new thread so as not to totally hijack that one.

What's the deal with the new Hulk movie? Is it taking over after the last one (that I thought was horrid) or is it a totally new Hulk franchise? Seems odd to have a re-imagining so recently after the last version tanked.

From what I've read, it's a total re-imagining..they're pretending the last flop didn't even come out. It supposedly begins AFTER he's already the Hulk..it's not an "origins" type movie.

bad news, though , is that Ed Norton has distanced himself from the finished movie , so it might blow

I can't decide whether I wanna go or not. The trailer looks pretty good, but still, if Edward Norton decided he didn't like something, that's not a good sign.

Chances are if I don't go see it opening weekend I won't go at all. If there's anything better to do, that is. Right now not looking like much happening that weekend.

It sorta acknowledges the other exists, simply from the stand point that Banner became the Hulk and the primary cast of characters are known, but outside of that I separates itself from the last movie.

I thought it was pretty good. Way more action, Better story, the first one was so fucking boring i fell asleep in it. The new one is better and Both Edward Norton and Robert Downey Jr. a on board the the avenger movie coming out. :lijstje:

I just saw it. Way better than the first one but I'm a huge Ed Norton fan. He could read the Yellow Pages for two hours and I would listen.

That being said, it's still a movie I will see once and once only. It was great until he became the Hulk and the CGI was just too much.
