I've lost repect for him with this. It doesn't look good for him when a new, hardnosed, no bs staff comes in that he wants out. It's the best chance they've had in a while at respectability and it appears he doesn't have the attitude for it.

They went 1-15 last year and have a new coaching staff who are trying to rebuild. Who can blame a guy his age wanting to play for a contender while he still has something left in his tank. Miami is not going to contend any time soon. The nucleus that Jimmy Johnson built has aged out and their window is long closed.

I think he just wants to dance and cruise through the offseason without too much effort and they aren't down with that.

That could be the case and if true would definitely make him less desirable. I think it is just as likely though that he does not want to start over and be treated like a rookie. He is a former defensive MVP and multi time probowler, you can expect him to act like an unproven rookie. Miami would be better off trading him for something than to hang on to an unhappy and aging star.

I do not see that as a problem. You can not handle guys like Taylor the same way you would a rookie. He has earned some respect with his play over the years.

Strahan got over it, and it netted him a ring. Granted, the Giants weren't 1-15...

The Dolphins have a lot fewer pieces in place than the Giants did. You knew the talent was there in New York but I do not see it in Miami.
