Always good to beat the Mucking Fets. To do it twice in one day is even better.

Saw my first Braves game at Turner Field last w/e against the A's. I must have jinxed them because Chipper struck out twice and Hudson walked four in a row and they got beat 5-4.

Looks like the Braves enjoy beating up on the Mets. Hopefully the pitching will hold up and they win the division.

    Will they re-sign Tex?

    19 - 5 @ home, 6 - 16 away. Is that close to some kind of record?

Tex will be a very tough sign. He has Scott Boras as an agent and that says a lot. Baltimore, because he is from that area is saving money to go after him and of course the Yankees will be in the mix. Braves will sign him if he gives them a discount. If Bobby Cox does not return next year, the Braves have no chance of signing Tex IMO.

There is nothing much better than a sweep of the Mucking Fets. To see them play the way they did in Atlanta puts a big smile on my face. I like Willie Randolph but he is about to be thrown under the bus. By any account the Mucking Fets clubhouse is a shamble. Hudson outpitched Santana tonight plain and simple. Next up Arizona who just got swept by the Fish.
