Everybody who is drafted into the NBA either has talent that is proven or potential. There are still many scrubs in the NBA, that have proven talent on the college level, but haven't produce very well at the next level.

Sorry, but comparing somebody who has done nothing at the NBA level to a HOF in the NFL is more than a reach.

He's not comparing them, he's comparing the benching of people for reasons other than talent level. And the fact that it DID happen to a person with a fuckload more talent than Reddick actually strengthens his case.

But the point is that doesn't prove that Reddick should get playing time. Since it did happen to somebody with a TON more talent than Reddick, then Reddick really has nothing to cry about. We haven't heard of any problems about Reddick, so that would indicate the coach thinks the players getting the minutes ahead of him are better overall and not just a one trick pony.

As for Allen, he was a great player, he just needs to be happy that Bo did get injured and split time in baseball or Allen may have never even had the career he did have. Bo Jackson without a doubt was a better runner than Allen, Allen was a better receiver out of the backfield.

they said on PTI the other day that van gundy hates redick. i'd say that's reason enough to stand up and say something. i couldn't really care less. redick is never going to be a good nba player.

but before certain stupid fucking posters that call themselves cool guy kev try and quote that shit or something, just remember that tyler hasbrough isn't going to be shit either.

don't know. don't really care too either. but when this whole thing was brought up, they talked about it on PTI and kornheiser said that van gundy hates redick. so he doesn't understand why he doesn't trade him or release him.

Guessing no other teams want to trade for him at this point since he hasn't done anything.

As for the release? Why should they? They gotta pay him, so why not keep him incase something does happen and they need him.

Hell if Van Gundy doesn't like him why not trade him to move up in the draft or get something. Sounds childish of Van Gundy not to move someone if for no other reason not have to deal with him
