    I attribute this to this being a dead point in the football calendar. So, people ramble about stuff just to get a response out of others. Other Panthers' MBs are dead right now too. Trolls thive off of this time bacause some of us will bite on their nonsense when during the season we wouldn't normally give them the time of the day. Which is worse low dialy posts totals or trolling activity on the rise? I'd rather see few new posts, personally.

    Saw this thread had gone to four pages since the last time I saw it, and figured there might be some decent discussion going on.

    Guess not :34:

    I post on three or four different boards, each with it's pros and cons. Some are more active, others have people I've known for a long time (from the original Panther board), etc. etc. The big thing for me about this board is that while it's not as active - relatively speaking - and the discussion can sometimes get a bit crude and contentious, the overall level of football knowledge has generally been higher.

    Because of that, it was easier to have a decent discussion, which can be kinda tough when you're debating with someone who could use a serious dose of Football 101. When you have to stop to to explain basic precepts to your discussion partners, it can be annoying as all get out.

    Is this board still that sort of place? You tell me.
