Barring any other major player getting hurt, hypothetically if Jake isn't 100% or gets hurt and can't play the majority of the snaps in the upcoming year, do you think the Panthers can still make the playoffs with Moore as the starter. With the improvement of the o-line (hoping Otah is a good fit) and Stewart and DerAngelo get it done I think Moore can lead us into the playoffs

I think the running game Will open this up for Moore big time. plus we have probably the best WR's we've ever had...so I think just along as Moore doesn't fuck it up and lose games we will be fine. I think the D will be stout this year....I think Carolina is a Playoff contender with Moore or Jake. :Woot_Emoticon:

Yeah, especially after all the improvement on the defensive line, right?

Re: Moore - I think he would be good enough, though Fox and co. would keep him on a limited playbook for awhile, I'd think.

Moore looked decent as a game manager QB last season. With a potentially improved run game and better complimentary receivers he should be OK. The defense will probably not be as good this year since the pass rush did not get any help but the improved running game should offset.

To do more than simply make the playoffs we need a healthy Delhomme.

    Moore makes our defense better.
