It is not "one sportswriter's opinion." He didn't say that NBA scouts will drool over Stepheson in the future. He was reporting something he already knew, dumbass. And for god's sake, will you please stop arguing until you can SPELL HIS FUCKING NAME RIGHT YOU DUMB PIECE OF SHIT. You really proved your Carolina fan credentials by spelling his name wrong thirteen thousand times, Einstein.
... are from a site run by a guys who are just FANS, you idiot. They are not people who have any experience being paid to scout for NBA teams, nor were they even paid to cover the NBA by any media outlet. It's a fan website. That's what you're hinging your entire argument on, dipshit. You might as well pay someone to create a website for you and use that as "proof." Again, Sports Illustrated > some random dude's website.
I guess I shouldn't expect you to know anything about the NBA draft given that you can't even spell the name of a guy on the team you supposedly pull for. Did Brandan Wright go 8th overall because of his production on the floor? No. Did Marvin Williams go 2nd overall because of his production on the floor? No. Both guys went high because they had projectable frames and basketball skills. If teams drafted on the basis of "on court performance," J.J. Redick would have gone first overall you colossal moron.

Now shut the fuck up and go study the names of the players on Carolina's team so you can stop embarrassing yourself by misspelling them constantly. Either that or stop claiming to be a Tar Heels fan.

You know, the thing that makes me maddest is that you don't even have enough integrity to be ashamed of your own belligerent ignorance. Someone can be a moron and it's still ok as long as they realize they're a moron and show some contrition, or maybe even an attempt to become more educated. You just keep running your god damned mouth, though. That's what makes you scum. You're an idiot who knows nothing and contributes nothing, but you don't let that stop you from making a complete ass out of yourself anyway.

Stephenson couldn't hit the basket five feet away. I've seen the two frosh coming in to replace him. He never would've left the bench. Lottery. Dear god.

Stephenson's a nice player. He will probably make a NBA squad because of his size and athletic ability, but Ellington is more important to UNC basketball right now, for two reasons:

    1) NBA potential or not, Ellington has been and will (assuming he comes back) continue to be more productive

    2) The way the team is structured, UNC needs Ellington more. There are two very highly rated incoming freshmen at PF; none at SG, and UNC wasn't exactly deep there last year.

    LMAO

all this big talk from you is rich - especially you cracking on the "fan website" - when you run around acting like an NFL expert/draft talent guru - all because you are a "fan boy" who wrote some fantasy (FANTASY) football rag that no one has even heard of.

And to top it off you run with a writer's hyperbole (ooooh he is from SI) in an article about Carolina's team. Hyperbole about Stephenson looking good when he takes his warm up off. And somehow you turn that into NBA scouts are saying Stephenson will be a lottery pick. (I'm still looking for that part - can you bold that part for me)? Hell it wasn't even in an article about the draft. HEY DOOFUS - go find an article - any fucking article in print or on the net where ANY NBA scout/draft expert/general manager etc. even mentions the name Alecks Stevunson.

Good luck with that. As for proving things - the only thing you've proven in this thread is football isn't the only sport where you are a total fucking boorish asshole.

I disagree. With Frasor, Green, and Graves, Carolina has shooters. None of them are individually as good as Ellington, but scoring isn't a problem. When Carolina loses, it's usually because of rebounding and post defense, two things Stepheson excelled at. In fact, I'd argue that Stepheson was the only solid interior defender last year (and would have presumably gotten even better). Thompson is soft inside and while Hansbrough is an underrated defender on the perimeter, he can't stop anyone on the blocks. And as for the incoming freshmen, they're both lanky, step away from the basket types. Neither provides the toughness Stepheson did.

Is there ever a point at which you take a pause from being an idiot? Don't you need like an idiot break at times or are you just indefatigable? The magazine I write for is headquartered in New York City, goes out across the country, and sells over a hundred thousand copies each year. It's so ridiculous for you to mock that when you have never done anything half as cool or significant in your entire life, and you never will. You know why? Because you're an idiot with nothing to add and no purpose in life except to remind the talented how fortunate they are because they didn't end up like you.
Once again you in-bred moron, Staples was not giving his opinion. He was reporting the fact that he knew of real NBA scouts who were interested in Stepheson (see how that's spelled now?). You challenged me to produce an article and I did. You were wrong; suck it.

    WTF

you speak to Staples personally on this? You can give me the scouts that are interested in Stepheson? Or maybe you are making a great leap of faith here that Staples really does have knowledge of NBA teams that have Stepheson pegged on their draft board.

and we all hope to someday be as cool as you colon.

    NEW YORK CITY???? fo real?:lol2:
