actually, the story line wasn't half bad. high school social studies teacher is distraught over the death of his beloved springer spaniel, which he accidentally ran over in his driveway. dog hadn't accepted Jesus as his lord and savior at the time of his death and is thus relegated to purgatory. teacher sinks into depths of despair, becoming addicted to Leroy Jenkems and eventually, in a hallucinogenic state, joins his dead pet. There, he must convince the powers that be that his dog, through its actions while on earth, deserves its ticket to dog heaven. Having Louie Anderson has the lead actor kinda ruined things. I'd have preferred Mo'N'i'qu'e, with a cameo from sdssupersizedbooty.
