I never miss a chance at taking a shot at the tarholes..but your point is well taken...every team can what if the draft to death. Solarte started it with the Tom Brady thing in the begining...But we can all agree (even you tar hole cool-ade sipping maniacs) that even if you throw the tanking games equation out the window selecting Chris Paul instead of Ray Ray came down to a coin toss.... a 50/50 shot at becoming the best team in the east verses a team that cant draw flys to an arena we didnt want came down to a stinking coin toss...or we can just blame shinn

Ellis is more of a 2 guard than a point. and Felton is not a 2 guard. you can thank Sam Vincent if you need proof of this.

No one knew how good Paul would be, otherwise he would have went #1. This whole argument about tanking games is just sour grapes.

As a PG Felton is better, no question about that.

As a SG Ellis is better, no question about that.

At least make it an apple for apple argument/statement when you troll so it's not so obvious you are trolling.

I'd tank 3 games in a meaningless season to become a top 3 team in the league with a young top 5 player.

and the fact that 1/3 of the NBA teams play with that mentality is one of the major reason in the NBA (especially the regular season) sucks.

    Ellis is simply better.

I actually enjoyed the regular season games this year going down the stretch. Of course, my prime time games are all west coast games.

Think of how bad the east would be if Boston didn't get Allen and Garnett this year. The East has only two top notch teams, two one player teams, and a bunch of crap.

NBA ratings are up, but it won't be what it used to until the East stops being the D league.
