    only reason I can see Utah taking Williams is that is is the tallest of the three and maybe they thought his size translated better in the NBA

    Williams has been terrific for Utah, the same way Paul has been for New Orleans....my only point was that Paul would have been a Bobcat if they hadnt beaten the Pistons on that fateful night.

    Don't get me wrong, Williams has been great too. Better than Felton (who at the end of the season was one of the top PGs in the East, I hope he has a great year next year.)

    But Paul is on another level from Williams.

    And yes, we get it. I should look for my previous posts on the subject.

    Tanking for draft position is still weak. Paul could have went at #3. Losing that last game would not have guaranteed that the Bobcats could get Paul.

    No but we also beat the Hawks (twice) in those last couple of weeks.

    Looking back at it though, we only won 3 of our last 14 games. It just so happens we had two wins against the Hawks (which cost us that tiebreaker) and a win against the Pistons (which got us into the tie with New Orleans.)

    We did better at tanking than I gave us credit for.

    It still was, they had the audacity to have a ceremony in our arena. My gf considered getting me tix to that game until she heard that, she wisely chose to take me to the Knicks. I probably would have been thrown out of the Whorenets game if I was in the 7th row watching a 20 yr anniversary 'celebration' in Charlotte.
