Haven't seen it yet but have seen a favorable review or two. Going to see it this weekend.

 

95% on Rotten Tomatoes.

 

Just got back - I liked it. Much better than I thought it would be actually. After the first Hulk movie, a huge disappointment, I went in not expecting much. There's a couple of places it gets a little slow, and some "kid humor", I found a few lines and scenes I thought were a little corny, but the kids screamed with laughter. I always forget comic books are supposed to be for kids, but they did a good job with the 1st 2 Superman movies and the Spiderman flicks, or I thought so.

Anyway, back to Iron Man, Downey was enough of a smartass, ladies man, and drinker to make me like his character.

Pretty decent movie. Full house too.

Excellent flick. easily in my top 5 super hero flicks.

 

I hope you all stayed until after the credits. Very important part there.

 

I figured there would be somthing....but a 2 and 4 year old had to pee.....what was it?

Tony Stark comes home and someone has broken into his house. Black man with an eye patch (Samuel L. Jackson) waiting there. Says "Hello Mr. Stark. I'm Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'd like to talk to you about the Avenger Initiative."

And Tony Stark is supposed to make an appearance in the Incredible Hulk movie coming up. I'm betting someone from Iron Man or Hulk will also be in 2009's Captain America. Then wouldn't be shocked to see an Avengers movie in 2010 or 2011

This movie RULEZ. Only flaw was misplacing the Iron Man song. And it needed serious nudity given the quality of the femininity.
