How many of those super-talented Univ of South Carolina players were drafted?

Yeah, I bet that talent gap wouldn't have been so big if that had been the Gamecocks and not the Wolverines.

And obtaining an offer from a so-called 1A school automatically makes you better than a recruit who received a 1AA offer? :handjob: Well why don't the 1A NC or SC schools play ASU and show their ENORMOUS advantage? Cupcake game right? Tell that to Meechigan....and tell that to the NFL teams who drafted 1AA players this year

Not automatically, but coaches aren't stupid.

1A NC schools do play App.

No. It would still have been a massive talent gap. That's why the games are played. Flukes happen.

It means the scouts at the 1A schools (who make a hell of a lot) have determined that those recruits aren't talented enough to compete at that level. Sure, sometimes a player matures after high school and can get a shot at the NFL, but that's the exception.

The NC or SC schools have nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing ASU. Clemson and USC are both required to play one of the SC 1AA every year in order to help out the smaller schools' programs.

Who besides NC State over 2 years ago? See below.

Sorry Mr. Show, but that doesn't mean a whole lot to me; I'm sure many of us know people who get paid a lot of money that probably shouldn't get paid that much. Just because you earn a lot doesn't mean you deserve it...look at Bushy...

And I guess you are referring to Steve McNair, Tony Homo, Brian Westbrook, etc. right? There are just as many pro-bowl players that played FCS and Division II/III as BCS.

But UNC will play McNeese State (as you know ASU told them that we would play them for half as much money), Wake Forest publically stated they did not want to play us due in large part to their "fears", Duke will play James Madison....etc. Shall I go on? This argument doesn't hold any water....sorry.
