Bucs to dump Sim's and Gradkowski

    Bucs to dump QB's Simms and Gradkowski?

    Although the Bucs claim he is 100 percent healthy, Chris Simms, a 2003 third-round pick, has yet to prove on the football field that he is recovered from the spleen injury that has sidelined him for nearly two years ago. Both the left-handed Simms and/or Bruce Gradkowski, a 2006 sixth-round selection, appear to be on the trading or chopping block. With Plummer retired, the Bucs likely will part ways with either Simms or Gradkowski before they report to training camp on July 25.

    Sims or grad would be a good back up. :hihi:

    They have like 40 quarterback on the roster.

    Who are you, Jon Gruden? At most, we will only carry 3 QBs on the final roster, perhaps only 2. And I'm sure Chrissy Simms is just dieing to come here and be our 3rd string QB.

    Draft guys were saying we wanted Matt ryan? If Matt Moore doesn't work out or Jake is toast. then what. Brett Basnez i don't think so. and people have been talking about adding a vet for months now.

    We aren't carrying 300 QBs into camp.

    No vet worth his salt is going to come here to be the #3 QB. If Jake's arm goes bad and Moore proves to be a tease then we are just like every other team looking for it's #3 QB. Fucked.

    Gradkowski might take the job, if only because he's feeling lucky to be on an NFL roster.
