THAT is exactly what they did with that pick, which is the only reason to like the pick considering the need on the D-front.

I never stated that we would move Beason outside, in fact I clearly stated that he is best suited to stay at MLB. All I stated was that Connors abilities and the fact that Beason has the ability to play on the outside might be something that is considered. Your comment that he will back up at MLB supports that. If we have injuries or lack of production on the outside and Connor has shown abilities on the inside then we might very well try moving Beason. Is it what I would like to see...NO, is it what I think is the best use of Beason...NO.....Just a scenerio. To call me a moron for simply pointing out a possible LB alignment........and one I clearly stated I was not in favor of....makes you look pathetic. Shame on you.

Beason was a blindingly bright spot last year, he owns MLB.

Don't understand the connor pick? We have Shaw too for ST. Maybe they'll convert T.davis to DE?

Connor is our weakside linebacker of the future. We've got a couple of older vets working out there now.

Basically, it just means Anderson is probably toast, which is actually a good thing cause he sucks.

Yeah, which is too bad for tha third round class. Butler and Anderson....I certainly hope these stick. Im hoping we turn a corner, because its frustrating seeing all these guys stink. I had hopes for Anderson; thought he was going to be a great through the gaps blitzer...a rangy guy who could make lots of tackles, and beat someone for a spot...didnt work out that way.

Connor will be a backup this year.

I have no problem with the pick - if Beason gets hurt, Connor might be better than Seward.

I suspect Tim Shaw is at risk, too.

Shaw? Yes, he is. He has the advantage, though, of being a STs beast, and can play DE in a pinch....

I wouldn't want to try it, 6-1 236, he has played DE in the past but that doesn't make this a good idea.

I agree completely. I say that with a bit of a twinkle in my eye, because he has a DE's number, too, lol, but yeah. I wouldnt do it either, unless all our DEs went down.
