    Boboli. brush it lightly with olive oil and cook at 400 for about 10 minutes. remove. put on your toppings and cook another 15 minutes. not as good as fresh made dough, but pretty damned good

    Holy shith. I used Boboli many times but never pre-cooked the crust. So that's the secret.....

    finally remembered all this and put together a pie - just whipped together a tomato sauce really quickly and can do better, but using a $3 ball of dough and cranking the oven high as it would go...awesome pie in 8 minutes.

    Dough makes a huge difference. Even without really spicing the fresh tomato much, or cutting down the acidity, really good.

    I always thought the pinch of sugar is what took the acidity out of the tomato taste? Give me a white pizza with slices of tomato's and fresh basil any day :REDanceBanana001:
