Carolina laid down like a cheap hooker tonight. Kansas had control from the opening tip. And I don't wanna hear about how Carolina didn't quit down 28 because if Roy and the boys were worth a flip they wouldn't have been down that much to begin with.

Roy once again proves just how overrated a coach he is. I'm glad Doherty loaned him that one national championship because the monkey would be smothering Roy to death.

As far as the future...it will be interesting. Does Lawson stay? Can he really get any better at both the college game and at his draft status? I personally doubt it. What benefit would it be to him to play another year and risk a more significant injury than the one he suffered this year.

I think Lawson's status may have a huge bearing on Hansbrough. As much as he's been given in three years, the only thing left for him to accomplish is a national championship. If Ty stays then they have another chance but if Larry Drew is the starting point guard next year then I look for Hansbrough to be gone. Ellington IMO is just a good college player, no real need for him to go pro. Everybody else should be a no-brainer.

Oh come on Dan....Are we experincing sour grapes over the atrocious season your boys had? You're right, if we were on the same caliber as Kansas, we wouldnt have been down by that margin. But that just goes to show you, some teams want it much more than others. Kudos to Kansas, hope they beat Memphis on Monday.

By the way.....The closest thing Sidney Lowe will get to a national title is the one he barely won in 1983. Matt Doherty, even if he stayed, wouldnt have led UNC to the national title in 2005. Roy Williams completed that puzzle.

I don't understand how Roy let this happen. I know good and well that with today's technology, Roy could have easily looked up Bob McKillop's phone number and asked him what to do. (Davidson never trailed by more than 6 against KU)

UNC blew that game. I'll bet they will kick themselves in the ass for a long time.

If they have any ass left after that game last night.

That first half was extremely embarrassing.

Why is it that when someone observes how Carolina got their asses handed to them that the person making the observation is doing so because their own team sucked this year? Carolina got their asses handed to them. Doesn't matter who says it.

So you're confirming exactly what Dan concluded. I'm glad you agree.

it looke liked UNC was ready for a marathon but Kansas came out sprinting. by the time our guys got it going it was 40-12. i dont know if i've ever seen anything like it. no time to get pissed, just stunned. it was a total ass whipping with us making some noise til Kansas caught their breath and said "fuck no, we gonna go to the next level". "catch us if you can."

getting knocked outta the tourney is always tough but you still get your chance and thats a good deal.

that being said, i appreciate what they did this year and hope the best for those kids who'll decide to move on.

    another year in the books.
