    True, I would like to thank the teams are placed randomly but know better. You think Kansas and UNC Chapel Hil were placed where they were on the hopes they would eventually meet? I'd say so.

    on another note: Seems like there is always about 3 teams crying about not getting in. Why not add 3 teams and have a play in game for each no.1 seed?

    but there is..why not do it for all the no.1 seeds? Im not a fan of it either.

    problem is how do you determine which teams should be in that play-in game? How do you power rank the conference and say one is better than the other?

    if they can figure out how to get 2 in a play in game, they can figure out 6 more to play in them.

    You could make 100 playing games and teams would still bitch. I know it is not possible, but the winner of the NIT should be the playing team.

    do you just do away with the NIT tournament at that point? Because the NCAA actually runs that tourny too. If they take 6 of those teams you can shut that waste of money down.

    that's an interesting concept, but you'd have to put the NCAA tourny off for like two weeks.
