Davidson should've been Top 10

Their performance all year against top schools, and they've played 6 schools that I can think of that were top-10 or top-15, demonstrated clearly that on any night, they can beat any team. They caused Duke, UNC, UCLA, and Kansas to go to the wire, made them play outside of their normal game and caused a ton of turnovers with what I think is the best defense in the nation. And they beat Wisconsin and Georgetown handily, two teams that should have been able to smack them around with their inside game.

GREAT year, too bad it was marred somewhat by that last 16 seconds...

 

Terrible play call at the end.

 

no it was a pretty good play call, poorly executed. Curry was the perfect Decoy. Problem was the shooter was too far away from the 3 point line.

 

I don't think they intended for the point guard to be the shooter on that play. Curry looked like he was trying to get off a shot and then had to pass it when he knew he had no chance.

 

Give Kansas credit for the good D.

Heard on ESPN that the coach let Curry call the last play. Any truth to that?

 

Then he should be fired. He aint Jordan, just a good shooter who has teammates that can set screens.

 

which is really too bad because Davidson was much better at tournament time.
