Kinda worried the Wash. St. will slow UNC down and throw them outta their game. Hoping Ellington or Green don't have an off shooting night. Realistically that could end UNC's run. Look at what Washington St. has done defensively in the last 2 games!

On a side note I do kinda think its cool that little Tony Bennett that use to play for the Hornets is the coach there. I also find it odd how he's turned them into a solid defensive unit when he sucked ass on Defense, and was known for jacking up threes while he was here.

Well to his defense, he had physical limitations to playing D well. White, short and slow will kill you every time.

And to stick with the topic - I know UNC wasn't playing the best teams in the country in the first two rounds, but if they keep playing like that, there aren't any teams out there that scare me at all.
Very happy to see Ty playing well again. He seems much more confident and not nearly as 'hobbled' as he was before. Danny Green has been in a funk over the last two games, but everyone else is playing much better including Deon Thompson and Alex Stepheson. If Danny can knock down a shot or two to get his confidence back and starts playing the way he did in the middle to end of the season, UNC could really start blowing some decent teams out.

yes if UNC continues that trend they can't be beat, but realistically they won't continue that trend. Not saying they won't be better than their competition, but I expect Washington St. to be harder to score against.

Because my job is so boring, thought I would compare the top 6 guys from WSU against the top 6 guys for UNC.
Just going on season averages, UNC should win by 20. UNC outrebounds WSU by about 8 boards. Of course, WSU is a pretty big team compared to the Heels and UNC plays more guys with more minutes. Shooting %'s (all things being equal) are about the same for all shots (including FT's, which I didn't include here.)
Anyway, thought it was interesting, so here it is.

Edit: 3 pnt % isn't necessarily right. Some of those guys haven't taken any 3's, so 0% shouldn't be taken into consideration for those guys - damn excel. (Baynes, Cowgill, Thompson. Hansbrough shot 5 3-pnters and missed them all so his 0% SHOULD be taken into consideration.)
